Strumble Lodge Race Night

Strumble Lodge No. 4351 held a highly successful Race Night in Fishguard on Friday 11th November 2022. There were fifty people in attendance on the night, and in all the evening raised the fantastic sum of £1,300. This will help to make up any deficit in the Lodge’s target for the 2026 Festival.

Everyone who attended said they had a most enjoyable evening and were keen to see what other activities were planned in the New Year and beyond. The pictures of the evening shown above are proof that the evening was enjoyed by all, and spirits were high, everybody may look quiet, but the noise was deafening!

Steve Roscoe the Lodge Charity Steward said that it was great to see a social event being held in the Lodge once again after the long layoff due to Covid and he hoped that the success of the event would stimulate other Lodges to organise their own events to raise funds towards the festival.

A seasonal appropriate meal of Bangers and Mash was served during the evening to keep energy levels up...

Should your Lodge wish to host a Charity Horse Racing evening you should contact the Provincial Charity Steward who has all the necessary equipment and expertise and he or one of his team will attend the evening to assist in the smooth running of the event.
