Old Priory Lodge Donation to Patch Charity

Once again Father and Son Bros. Rob and Steve James have given their time and money to help Patch charity to deliver much needed Christmas food hampers to the needy of Pembrokeshire.

A communication was sent out seeking donations to enable food to be bought and the sum of £550 was donated by several Old Priory brethren. Rob and Steve had great enjoyment in the Milford version of supermarket sweep, pacing the aisles of Tesco searching for the products they were advised to buy. These were then loaded up in the 2 cars and transported to the Patch building where they were sorted into individual hamper bags and labelled up with names and addresses.

The charity is so overwhelmed with requests at Christmas and subsequently struggle to get enough delivery drivers so our intrepid duo offered to deliver the hampers as well, some having to go to Fishguard and Pembroke as well as more local families.

Grateful thanks go to W. Bros. Doug Snape, Alan Dennison, Ian Barnes, Peter Gregory, Billy Howlin, John Everett, Sion Wilson, Les Phillips and of course Father(and Son) Christmas for their generous donations.
