Prince of Wales Lodge Breakfast Morning for 2026 Festival

On Saturday, 25th March 2023, the Treasurer Alan Davies and Charity Steward Adrian Hallett hosted a charity breakfast morning on behalf of the brethren of Prince of Wales Lodge No. 671, all proceeds being donated towards their 2026 Festival target.

The event was well attended and supported by many brethren and friends. Alan Davies commented " I would like to thank everyone who attended, especially the brethren (and wives) who travelled up from Haverfordwest and Carmarthen. It was lovely to see the dining room full, with people coming together in a social atmosphere. I would like to thank Alun Littlejohn of CK's Supermarkets for their generous support of the event, Adrian Hallett for setting up the room and my wife Louise for making the best coffee."

PGM James Ross a good supporter of all Provincial Charitable events and of hearty breakfasts commented "It is great to see that Lodges can now get back to organising social events to help with achieveing their targets for the 2026 Festival."

The unofficial amount raised is about £800 (exact figures to be updated later in the week) and this equates to over one person's expected regular payment promise over the six year period of the festival.

Sound bite of the day goes to Adrian Davies of Haverfordwest who when asked why he had travelled all the way to Llanelli for a breakfast responded "the food is better than in my house".
