Bro Rob James with the Old Priory Donation to PATCH

Full marks and congratulations go to Bro Rob James of Old Priory Lodge when he was informed by the local charity Patch that funds were running low in the days approaching last Christmas December 2020. Patch were delivering food parcels to a large number of needy families in the locality. They contacted Bro Rob James and he in turn approached W Bro Alan Dennison Secretary of Old Priory. Within 24/36 hours all lodge members were notified by email and they eagerly gave their full approval to a donation of £500 towards this worthy cause.

Despite all the obstacles of social distancing at the time and with their own Christmas commitments, Bro Rob and his son Steven purchased a van load of food from the local Tesco store in Haverfordwest and then assisted PATCH with deliveries across the County.

The Worshipful Master and brethren of Old Priory were delighted to congratulate Bro Rob and his son Bro Steven James on their tremendous efforts, which showed that charity is still alive even in these difficult times and is being practiced in Milford Haven. Bro Steven was initiated into Old Priory in February 2020.
