Head of West Wales Masons has a busy day at Teifi Installation

W. Bro. James Ross had a busy day at the Installation of the new Worshipful Master at Tefi Lodge No. 4648. During his busy schedule he presented a cheque to Cardigan Boxing Club for £500 to help cover future travelling expenses. (You will remember that West Wales Freemasons in general and James Ross in particular were instrumental in helping Cardigan boxers bring home two Commonwealth Games medals, one gold and one silver.

He also presented another £500 cheque to Hearing Dogs for deaf people together with a much larger cheque to the manager and a trustee of Cardigan Swimming Pool for £5,000 (the swimming pool is a near neighbour to the Masonic Hall).

Later having dressed in all his finery he made his usual visit to thank the ladies of the Lodge for preparing the pre-installation tea. It is obvious from the photo that all ladies (Freemasons partners included) love a bit of bling.

Finally, after all the giving of cheques he was pleased to receive one for £7,000 towards the 2026 West Wales Festival fund.

When members of the province thank him for all the work he does on behalf of the province during his toast at all Installation meetings, you will now realise how much demand there is on his time.
