MCF; £50,000 to the Brisitish Red Cross

As part of the Masonic Charitable Foundation’s long-standing programme to provide relief to those in distress following humanitarian crises worldwide, an emergency grant of £50,000 has been given to the British Red Cross (BRC) towards helping those in need as a result of the conflict in Gaza and Israel.

The BRC is working with both the Israeli charity Magen David Adom (MDA) and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) to provide critical medical supplies for injured people and to support ambulance teams on the ground.

The work of the BRC is made possible thanks to their strict neutrality and their concentration on the provision of humanitarian need without discrimination. This approach complements the position of the Masonic Charitable Foundation when responding to such crises.
