Petwerwell Lodge Present £10k Towards 2026 Festival

On Thursday, 16th March 2023, the installation of Peterwell Lodge No. 4713 took place at the Lampeter Masonic Hall. W.Bro. Andrew Carter was installed into the chair of the Lodge by W.Bro. Brian Herbert in a ceremony enjoyed by all present.

The festive board followed the ceremony in the refectory of Lampeter Campus of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. During the proceedings the incoming master was pleased to present a cheque to the Assistant Provincial Grand Master W.Bro. Michael Eckley for £10,000, which will go towards the Lodge’s 2026 Festival Target.

In an unusual turn of events the visitors toast was on this occasion sung to the visiting brethren by the new Junior Warden W.Bro. Adrian Thomas but in deference to the sensibilities of the brethren’s musical experience the responder W.Bro. Keith Eckley didn’t sing the reply.
