Old Priory Lodge assist Sandy Bear charity

While they were redecorating the offices of the Sandy Bear charity (a children’s bereavement charity covering the whole of Pembrokeshire), a request was made to Old Priory Lodge almoner Ian Barnes to ask if he could do something with the kitchen, which was in a bit of a mess. Without hesitation Ian replied yes, and so the process began.

A request was made through Bro. Rob James and hey presto, a new kitchen was donated by Rob’s former employers, Howdens in Neyland. With the grateful assistance of several brethren of Old Priory, especially Rob’s, son Steve and the W.M. Doug Snape the kitchen was duly installed along with new flooring.

Old Priory Lodge donated £150 to finish off the kitchen and the staff are delighted with the result.

The photos show the kitchen as it was before the refurbishment and after its completion with Ian, his team, and staff of the charity.
