The Mackworth Club

What is the Mackworth Club?

The Mackworth Club was founded in 2018 to give the newer members of our Fraternity in West Wales a means to meet and socialise, both within the Lodge and ‘out of school’, with like-minded people.

Primarily the Club’s role is to provide events and other occasions, be it Masonically, socially, or of a charitable nature, for ‘Light Blue’ Freemasons to meet each other and enhance their Masonic journey.

This allows the Freemasons to grow in confidence while enabling them to further enjoy masonry and discover the wider fraternal nature of the institution and make new, lifelong friends.

Qualifications for Membership

Membership is automatic however continued membership is only allowed for subscribing members of a Lodge or Chapter in the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE). The Club is essentially aimed at Brethren who do not yet have Provincial rank (the ‘Dark Blues’), however we actively encourage and invite the support of the more experienced masons with open arms as guests at our events.

Cost of Membership

Membership of the Mackworth Club is essentially free for life, after that the only cost will be what is  spend at the bar or at an event.

Advantages of Membership

Membership of the Club affords an opportunity to make many new friends within the Province via group activities such as Lodge visits within the Province and further afield, social get togethers and group activities such as community charity activities, fishing trips, clay pigeon shooting, carting etc…etc.

Please register membership via the online form below.  Please remember to include the name of your Lodge in the comments box.

Please also include a mobile telephone number in the Message box so that you can be included in our vibrant Whats App group, our online forum where such things as events and activities are discussed and arranged between members.

Lapel Badges

Members of the Mackworth Club are each supplied with a lapel badge and encouraged to wear them at their Lodge meetings (and anywhere else if they wish) with pride!  If you haven’t as yet received one, then speak to your Lodge Mackworth Representative or mention it when registering below.

The Royal Arch

Joining the Royal Arch (or 'Chapter') is the fourth and final stage in Pure Antient Masonry, anyone who has been a Master Mason for four weeks can join, and should aspire to join the Royal Arch, because becoming a Companion of the Order continues their voyage of discovery.  Speak to your Lodge Royal Arch representative for details.
