AEPOW Strawberry Fayre

The Fayre was opened by The P.G.M. of West Wales R.W.Bro. A. J Ross and the P.G.M. of South Wales R.W.Bro. D.G. Rowbottom along with the home manager Mrs Alison Aberdeen who cut the tape to open the Fayre.

The day was well attended my numerous masons and members of the public, with several stalls, raffles, and quizzes to enable people to try and win a few prizes. The stalls included a bottle stall and a regalia stand where you could purchase regalia, diaries, jewel holders, ties, and numerous other items.

The main hall was venue for the strawberries and cream and there was also a bar available to purchase drinks.

Outside there was a children’s play area with a bouncy castle, mini golf and other entertainment including live music.

On the day the South Wales motorcycle lodge (the widow’s sons) presented a cheque to the home manager for £500.

The weather was great and many of the visitors spent their time sitting in the sun listening to the live music perhaps with something cold to quench their thirst.
