Strumble Lodge BIG Breakfast in aid of Prostate Cymru

Strumble Lodge No. 4351 held a successful 'BIG Breakfast' in support of the Prostate Cymru November fundraising campaign, at the Masonic Hall in Fishguard on Saturday, 26th November. The breakfast which, was attended by over seventy people raised just under £700 which, will be used by Prostate Cymru to enhance research into the prevention and cure of Prostate Cancer. Great for a Saturday morning's effort. Some of those who made the event possible are shown breakfasting for themselves afterwards.

Prostate Cancer will affect 1 in 8 men in Wales and this increases to 1 in 3 if there is history of the disease in the family. Prostate Cymru is the leading prostate health charity in Wales supporting men with benign prostate disease and prostate cancer. The charity has no national or government funding and relies on the kindness and generosity of its fundraisers and volunteers to fulfil its core aims.

Strumble Lodge are now looking forward to supporting the Charity's 'The BIG walk’ - 26 miles in July next year (in some way to include all mixed abilities!). You choose how you wish to complete the challenge either in one chunk or broken down into more manageable segments.
