Tenby Lodge Donate To Tenovus

On the night that W.Bro. Damian Brown was installed as Master of Tenby Lodge, the raffle at the Festive Board raised a whopping £400. As is customary at Tenby Installations, the Master selects a charity to which the raffle proceeds are to be donated.

W.Bro. Damian chose Tenovus Cancer Care, which is a Wales based charity that gives help and hope to cancer sufferers by providing expert advice and counselling, and facilitating treatment in their mobile support units. The charity also funds a number of research projects aimed at the development of new cancer drugs and treatment methods, as well as better ways to diagnose and prevent cancer.

W.Bro. Damian popped into the Tenovus shop in Pembroke with lodge charity steward W.Bro. Steve Thurgood, and is pictured presenting a ‘cheque’ to Tenovus volunteer Elena.
