Provincial Golf Results 2025/2026

Tenby Lodge Brethren make it a clean sweep.

On Friday 1st of May Trefloyne golf club near Tenby, hosted the second West Wales Provincial golf tournament of our Masonic year, which turned out to be a most enjoyable day’s golf had by all.

18 Brethren and Guests, from Tenby, Cambrian, Old Priory, and St. Davids Lodges attended, and on arrival were met with a friendly welcome and the obligatory Bacon roll with Coffee / Tea.

At 11.00 am, we set off in groups of 3 or 4 ball sorted by the brethren themselves in lovely weather conditions.

On completing the excellent and demanding 18-hole golf course , we were treated to a tasty meal in the Club house conservatory overlooking the golf course. All the score cards were then verified and added on to the September 25 results and the winners were as follows.

Tenby Lodge were in first place, and Cambrian Lodge second.

The individual trophy went to Michael O’Dare of Tenby/Cambrian Lodges. Prizes were also awarded for the day’s golf.

The best score of the day was again Michael O’Dare, with a very close second and third, were David Marshal and Jason Sallam, all from Tenby Lodge, nearest the pin was David Marshal, and longest drive went to Doug Snape of Old Priory Lodge.

The best score for our non-Masonic Guests, overall, John Mason, and the days golf was Matt Harvey.

A big thank you must go to Martin Hughes for organising and acquiring all the magnificent prizes which were donated by the Masonic Charitable Foundation.

We will play our first game of the new Masonic year 2026 /27 on Friday 4th of September. The venue has not yet been decided but will be within the West Wales Provincial area.

So, to all our golfing Brethren, please make a note in your diaries and join us for a great days golf, and for the chance to represent your Lodge and win those magnificent trophies.

May I thank all the brethren for the help and support they have given me to make it such a great
