Provincial Church Service 2024

St Thomas's Church St Dogmaels was the venue for this year’s Annual Craft and Royal Arch Provincial Church Service on Sunday 12th May 2024.

The sun shone whilst over one hundred members of the Craft and Royal Arch with partners, together with Honoured Guests the Deputy Lord Lieutenant Ms Hazel Thomas and the current Mayor of Cardigan, Counsellor Sian Maehrlein, attended a very enjoyable service conducted by Provincial Grand Chaplain W Bro Rev Aled Lewis  accompanied by Rev Elizabeth Rowe, Vicar for St Thomas, and the Bro Rev Lynn Rees.

The Old Testament reading was delivered by the Assistant Provincial Grand Master W Bro Michael V Eckley, followed by the Old Testament reading in Welsh delivered by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master VW Bro Ryland L James.  The Provincial Grand Master delivered the Gospel reading with the Intercessions given by Bro Rev Lynn Rees, followed by a very meaningful sermon by W Bro Rev Aled Lewis.

Following the service the congregation were entertained to a sumptuous tea at the Masonic Hall Cardigan provided by the Teifi Lodge in recognition of the fact that they will be celebrating their centenary later this year.
