Neyland Lodge Presentation to VC Gallery

Dilwyn Evans of Neyland Lodge presenting a cheque to Barry John of VC Gallery and Neyland AFC also Paul Bird presents a cheque to representatives of the Paul Sartori care home

The VC Gallery in Neyland were pleased to receive another cheque from Neyland Lodge in a bid to increase their funding. There has been a strong link between the Lodge and the Gallery for many years and the latest presentation has further cemented the bond between two pillars of the community.

Wor. Bro. Dilwyn Evans was also pleased to present a cheque of £500 to Mr Martin Jones (of Neyland AFC). This money was pledged last year, towards their project of purchasing new goalposts.  Neyland Lodge supported them in the hope of securing funding from the West Wales Provincial Charity, which was successful last November. The Province generously donated £ 1,499 which enabled Neyland AFC to complete their purchase.

On a seperate occassion the incoming Master (Paul Bird) was pleased to present a cheque for £405 to representatives of the Paul Sartori Care Home, once again cementing a firm bond between the Lodge and an iconic Pembrokeshire charity.  The money was raised from the raffle at Paul's installation banquet.

How the Foundation helps communities

In addition to the support provided to Freemasons and their families, the Masonic Charitable Foundation looks beyond Freemasonry, making significant financial grants to charities that help people to live happy, fulfilled lives and to participate actively in society.

The charities supported make a significant and lasting difference to people in need.  We aim to benefit as many people as possible and further those causes about which Freemasons and their families have told us they are most passionate.
