Donations to Ceredigion Youth Services

Aeron and Peterwell Chapter recently decided to donate to the Ceredigion Youth Service to support their work in the Aberaeron and Lampeter area if this could be used to help fund a specific project.

Enquiries were made and it transpired that the Youth Service would like to provide an additional activity in the community, an evening intervention activity, namely a boxing club. The aim would be to try and attract young people who are a cause of concern to the community/ prevent young people from anti-social behaviour.

This was thought to be a worthwhile project and the Chapter was delighted to donate £1000 for the purchase of the required equipment.  Aeron Lodge also showed their support by donating a further £300.
