Aberystwyth University Freshers Fair

Saint Padarn Lodge, a University Scheme Lodge attended the annual Aberystwyth University Freshers Fair on 26th September 2022.

The stall was run by Stephen Fearn (Provincial Membership Officer) from Saint Padarn Lodge and Jenny Hughson from The Order of Women Freemasons, ably supported by the lodge brethren and student society.

Although it was a wet and breezy day, within the large marquee there was a lot of engagement and discussions with potential candidates for both orders.

We look forward to meeting the 20 candidates that expressed an interest and will be attending our social evening on Friday 30th September in the Lodge bar where we can give them more information about the University Scheme and Freemasonry in general.

Our grateful thanks to the Province of West Wales, members and students of Saint Padarn Lodge and The Order of Women Freemasonry for supporting us on the day.

How the Foundation helps communities

In addition to the support provided to Freemasons and their families, the Masonic Charitable Foundation looks beyond Freemasonry, making significant financial grants to charities that help people to live happy, fulfilled lives and to participate actively in society.

The charities supported make a significant and lasting difference to people in need.  We aim to benefit as many people as possible and further those causes about which Freemasons and their families have told us they are most passionate.
