A presentation on behalf  of  the members of the Neyland Lodge of Freemasons No 990 to the Trustees of the Hook Miners Trust to enable them to upgrade their playpark was made by the Lodge Charity Steward Wor Bro Bryn Lewis at the Trusts monthly meeting on the 17th March.

This presentation was made in respect of the late Wor Bro David M Petrie PJGD who was a long standing member of the Lodge and it was his wish and that of his family that all donations in his memory should be directed to upgrade the childrens play equipment in Hook.

THE Chairman  of the trust thanked the  Lodge  for their very generous donation of £1000 and this would greatly assist the trust  in reaching  their target and would be of great benefit to the community.
