Tenby Polo Shirt, Good Fit for the Assistant Grand Master

With their Summer Fundraising BBQ fast approaching, Tenby Lodge Master Damian Brown had the bright idea of each lodge member wearing an identical shirt that identified them at large events such as the BBQ.

Past Master Tony Upham knew of a local supplier (Tees ‘R’ Us of New Hedges, Tenby) and after quickly agreeing a design and colour a price was set which allowed a small surplus that would be passed to the Lodge Almoner for the Widow’s Fund.

The word went out to lodge members and over 30 of them ordered a shirt. The polo shirt is ‘Craft’ blue with the breast motif  ‘Tenby Masonic Lodge No. 1177’ below the Square and Compasses. Our guiding principles of Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Service appear on the sleeves.

As an Honorary Member of Tenby Lodge, our PGM R.W. Bro. James Ross was pleased to order 2 of the shirts, one for himself and one for someone he knew was a fan of Tenby….the Assistant Grand Master R.W.Bro. Steven Varley!

R.W. Bro. Steven attended Tenby Lodge fairly recently with the PGM and delighted all present by saying that he had a particular fondness for the Tenby area having visited on holiday as a child.

He was very pleased to receive a Tenby Lodge polo shirt, and proud to model it for us in his garden!
