Ystwyth Chapter- A Special Meeting

There was a special meeting of the Ystwyth Chapter in March. Two Brethren from Saint Padarn Lodge were Exalted into Royal Arch Masonry. The reason this was special is the two candidates joined Freemasonry under the UGLE University Scheme in March 2022. 

Bro Ioan Ellis Ashley and Bro Adren Joseph Poulard not only joined Freemasonry together but were Passed and Raised together. Now they have been Exalted together. Before becoming Freemasons, they did not meet at the University. Ioan and Adren signed up after seeing Saint Padarn's stand at the Fresher's Fair. Now, they are good friends - true Masonic Brothers and Companions. 

Ioan hails from Monmouthshire and Adren is from Georgia, USA. Ioan is studying history and Adren is studying computer science. I am sure their friendship will last long after they must go their separate ways.
