Monday 30th November 2020 was a red letter day in West Wales, heralding the first masonic meetings since March. Seven brethren attended the November meeting of Tenby Lodge no 1177 and there were 11 companions present at the Installation rehearsal of Hwlffordd Chapter no 464.
All the COVID guidelines were followed to the letter at both meetings and the brethren and companions present enjoyed their first opportunity to be together for 8 months.
The Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro James Ross said: "I am delighted that our lodges and chapters are able to meet again, albeit in a restricted way. We have all been missing our freemasonry and these are our first steps on the long road to normality."
He added: "I completely respect that there are many brethren who don't wish to meet at the present time, but equally there are many that do. The Tenby Lodge example of a real life lodge meeting followed by a Zoom Festive Board seems to tick all the boxes in the current situation."
