St Elliw Chapter had to relinquish the Travelling Altar to Merlin Chapter on Monday 25th November 2019. St Elliw have held the Altar since it was presented to them by The Grand Superintendent, E Comp James Ross at their Installation meeting in September. It was especially impressive as it was the day before Merlin's own meeting and it therfore clashed with their rehearsal.

As the MEZ of Merlin Chapter was otherwise engaed at the Merlin Rehearsal, their newest Exaltee, Comp Ian Lumby was delegated to receive the Altar from E Comp Alan Davies, the MEZ of St Elliw Chapter.

It was an excellent meeting which included the presentation of a 50 year certificate to E Comp Lawrence Murphy and also a fine Exaltation Ceremony.

Comp Ian Lumby presented the Altar to his own MEZ, E Comp Martin Marks at the Merlin Chapter meeting on Tuesday 26th November 2019.

The next meeting of Merlin Chapter is on Tuesday 28th January 2020.
