Tenby Donate To Paul Sartori

Tenby Lodge have continued their long-standing support for the Paul Sartori Foundation by donating £1,000 to the Pembrokeshire based charity, which offers free specialised care and support for those in the later stages of any life-limiting illness. They provide a range of services in the patient’s home and help those close to the patient during the illness and through the bereavement period.

The donation was made following a boost of over £2,000 to the charitable funds held by Tenby Lodge when they staged a successful fund-raising Barbecue event during the summer. Lodge Junior Warden Damian Brown made the grounds of his holiday park in Manorbier (Ridgeway Park Resort) available for the event and invited visitors staying at the park to attend. As a result, over one hundred people came along and enjoyed great food.

Tenby members had worked hard to place picnic tables around the field and the ladies contributed delicious salad bowls. Dessert was generously provided by Tenby Lodge member Jac Worley who runs a local ice cream business. Those present were entertained by another talented Lodge member Mike Brown who sang and played guitar.

The Lodge also received generous contributions of food and drink from local suppliers Coors, Andrew Rees butchers and Upton Farm, which was greatly appreciated.
