On Tuesday 22nd June 2021, The Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro James Ross, accompanied by the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, W Bro Ryland James and the Provincial Grand Charity Steward, W Bro Dirk den-Hartog finally had the opportunity to visit the Tanyard Youth Project in Pembroke. Tanyard received a total of £3377 for computer equipment which was jointly funded by the West Wales Grand Charity and the MCF.

The money was used to upgrade the equipment in The Film & Music Studio, the heart of digital arts learning at the Tanyard Youth Project. It is the hub for all music/recording, photography, and film-making tuition with young members of the project, and a unique feature of the youth organisation that helps them to stand out in terms of provision for young people.

The studio-based projects have been recognised by the Welsh Government at the 2020 Youth Work Excellence Awards, winning the Partnership Planning & Delivery Award with the Progression Project. The culmination of the project was a song that was performed and recorded at the studio by young people and shown at the Senedd in Cardiff.
