Support for West Wales Freemasons

19th March 2020

Dear Brother and Companion,

The Coronavirus is providing everyone with major challenges, not least Freemasons and the Province of West Wales. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master / Most Excellent Grand Superintendent and the Executive are fully aware of the needs of the Brethren and widows with 46% of our membership being over 70 years of age, a further 23% between 60 and 70 years of age, and the remaining 31% being under 60 years of age, so please don’t think you are on your own, you are not, as you’re part of a worldwide fraternity.

As a result, the Executive are adopting an approach where each Lodge / Chapter can work much faster in setting up a support network for all West Wales members. A member of your Lodge / Chapter will be in regular contact with you to check on your wellbeing and please feel free to let them know if you require any help at any time.

Should you wish to contact the Province directly the Executive have set up a dedicated support email address and also an answerphone on 01267 243402 to be used as points of contact should you have any needs.

If you can offer support to others, either in person, or over the phone, then please use the contact details above to outline how you can contribute.

We have received many offers of help from the Mackworth Club Members and we would especially appreciate further volunteers in Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.

Please think of all your fellow Brethren, Companions and their families at this time, convey the support contact information to them and keep in touch. By working together, we can look forward to the future and remember, things will get better.

Kind regards
Yours sincerely and fraternally,

Anthony C Trumper
Provincial Grand Secretary
