Loyal Welsh Lodge Bi-Centennial Meeting

Loyal Welsh Lodge 378 has achieved a unique event in the annals of the West Wales Province. Consecrated on the first of October 1824, Loyal Welsh Lodge has become the first lodge in the province to celebrate it’s Bi-Centenary.

At a recent meeting at the lodge building in Pembroke Dock the Bi-Centenary Warrant was presented to W. Bro. Justin Thomas by the head of West Wales freemasonry R.W. Bro. Alistair James Ross. The Warrant was read out to the assembled brethren by W. Bro. Tony Trumper (Provincial Grand Secretary), and the Oration was given by W. Bro. Aled Lewis (Provincial Grand Chaplain). The Lodge history was read by Bro. Martin Cavaney and W. Bro. Jonathan James. A donation of £3,500 was made to the West Wales Masonic Festival.

At the Festive Board, a special presentation was made to W.Bro. Frans de Graaf by James Ross in recognition of his work in organising the Bi-Centenary celebration.
