Ar ddydd Sadwrn 22 Hydref 2022 yn Llanbed, cysegrwyd Cyfrinfa y Tair Sir Rhif 10018 gan y  Gwir Hybarch Frawd James Ross, gyda chymorth ei swyddogion.

Wedi i’r  Gyfrinfa gael ei chysegru, sefydlwyd y Meistr Cyntaf, yr Hybarch Frawd Emyr Davies gan y Dirprwy Brif Feistr, y Tra Hybarch Frawd Ryland James. Yr Uwch-Warden cyntaf yw’r Hybarch Frawd Elfan Bell a’r Is-Warden cyntaf yw’r Hybarch Frawd Martin Marks, y tri ohonynt yn adnabyddus trwy’r Dalaith.

Nid yn unig mai dyma’r Gyfrinfa gyntaf i’w sefydlu yng Ngorllewin Cymru ers 2004, ond hon yw’r Gyfrinfa gyntaf oddi mewn i UGLE i'w chysegru i gynnal ei seremonïau mewn iaith ar wahân i'r Saesneg. Bydd Cyfrinfa y Tair Sir yn  defnyddio iaith y Nefoedd (Cymraeg). Fel y gellir disgwyl mae yna reolau pwysig yn bodoli. Mae’n rhaid i’r Gyfrinfa newydd drafod ei busnes a chadw ei chofnodion yn yr iaith fain ond mae’r seremonïau i gyd i’w cynnal yn y Gymraeg

Mae’r ddefod wedi ei chyfieithu gan yr Hybarch Frawd Elfan Jones, Saer Rhydd o Dalaith De Cymru. Mae wedi cael ei defnyddio ers rhai blynyddoedd gan Gyfrinfa Dewi Sant  Rhif 9067 ond tan yn ddiweddar, dim ond fel seremonïau arddangos. Roedd yr Hybarch Frawd Elfan yn falch iawn cael fod yn bresennol i weld y Gyfrinfa yn cael ei chysegru ac yn fodlon iawn i ymateb i lwnc destun yr Ymwelwyr yn ystod y Bwrdd Gwledda.

Roedd swyddogion y Dalaith wedi mwynhau’r cyfle i gysegru Cyfrinfa newydd ac mae’r Dalaith gyfan yn dymuno yn dda i’r Gyfrinfa newydd wrth iddi ddechrau ar ei thaith.

“After due deliberation, the M. W., The Grand Master, by virtue of the authority vested in him by the United Grand Lodge of England, has granted to the Brethren of this new Lodge a Warrant, establishing them in all the rights and privileges of our Order."

On Saturday 22nd October 2022, the Provicial Grand Master, RW Bro James Ross and his team  conducted the consecration of Cyfrinfa y Tair Sir no 10018.

Following the consecration, the Primus Master, W Bro Emyr Davies, was expertly Installed by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VW Bro Ryland James. The Primus Senior Warden is W Bro Elfan Bell and the Primus Junior Warden, W Bro Martin Marks, all senior and well known brethren in West Wales.

Not only was this the first new lodge consecrated in West Wales for 20 years, it is the first lodge under UGLE to be consecrated to conduct the ceremonies in a language other than English. Cyfrinfa y Tair Sir (Lodge of the Three Counties) will be using the Language of Heaven (Welsh for those in any doubt). As you might imagine the rules are very strict. The new lodge must conduct and record all it's business in English and conduct all ceremonies in Welsh.

The ritual was translated by W Bro Elfan Jones, a South Wales freemason and has been used for many years in Dewi Sant no 9067, but until recently, only for doing demonstrations. W Bro Elfan was delighted to attend the consecration of Cyfrinfa y Tair Sir and he was kind enough to reply to the Visitors Toast at the Festive Board.

The Provincial Team enjoyed the opportunity to consecrate a new lodge and the whole of West Wales wish the lodge well as they begin their journey.
